Obvious Problem or Not? (Please Reply) |
Hello,
I'm having a problem with Wayback Machine Archives and really need some help. Whenever I try to visit a certain website from the year 2001, I get the following message: "No cookie. To access this site your browser must be accepting cookies."
What do I do? I really want to get to the website.
Thank you!

most possibly that page wasn't archived correctly (server gave the crawler 'no cookie' thing instead of the page). you didn't give a link though, so i can't tell for sure.

So that message means that there is no way to access the old version of that page, for any of the dates?
Thank you for your help.

you can use
advanced search, for example:
http://web.archive.org/web/1999-2004*ir_/http://bionicle.com/*
if it doesn't help, most probably nothing will. what could not be archived, wasn't.

Okay. I searched as you recommended, but only pages from 2004 appear for the website. I will search more later.
Also I'm confused, because some pages (like those branched off from the site) exclusively work while the main website itself will not.
